decantU events offer a unique opportunity to help engage staff and clients. The interactive component makes it ideal for team building, and allows guests to gain insight into enhancing their wellness. Research on corporate wellness programs have found this learning can result in happier, healthier and more productive employees.
We demystify wine for guests through fundamental wine education that can make anyone look like an expert. As part of this experience, guests are guided through exploring and tasting several varietals of wines paired with creative, nutritious bites. Guests leave feeling empowered to make educated wine selections and healthy lifestyle choices.
The events are broken into three parts
The first part is an introduction that includes an overview of sparkling wine. While guest enjoy their bubbles, we share the history of wine and the research surrounding the physical health benefits of moderate wine consumption.
Part two begins with research related to the mental benefits. This segues into the sensory component of wine drinking with a guided exploration of two different varietals side by side, and an introduction to the wine aroma wheel.
The third part delves into the spirit of wine. Guests taste the same varietal of wine from two different regions, thus allowing for a discussion of terroir and what makes a wine great.
Communing over wine and food can turn strangers into friends. Uncorking wine together encourages communication and more profound interpersonal connections. The process of exploring and tasting wine as a team offers a unique shared experience and helps create meaningful bonds among participants.
